Terms & Conditions

1. Agreement

These terms and conditions govern the provision of tree surgery and arboricultural services by Carpenters Tree Care Ltd ("we", "our", "us") to you ("the client"). By accepting a quotation or instructing us to carry out work, you agree to these terms.

2. Quotations

All quotations are valid for 30 days from the date of issue unless otherwise stated. Quotations are based on the information available at the time of inspection. If site conditions differ materially from what was assessed, we reserve the right to adjust the price before commencing work.

3. Payment

Payment is due upon completion of work unless alternative terms have been agreed in writing. We accept bank transfer and cash. For projects exceeding £2,000, a deposit of up to 30% may be required before work begins.

4. Access & Permissions

The client is responsible for ensuring we have adequate access to the site and that any necessary permissions (including planning permission, conservation area consent, or Tree Preservation Order consent) have been obtained before work begins. We can advise on whether permissions may be required.

5. Cancellation

You may cancel a booking with at least 48 hours’ notice at no charge. Cancellations with less than 48 hours’ notice may incur a cancellation fee to cover costs already committed. We reserve the right to postpone work due to unsafe weather conditions.

6. Insurance & Liability

Carpenters Tree Care Ltd holds public liability insurance of £10,000,000 and employer’s liability insurance of £10,000,000. Copies of our insurance certificates are available upon request. Our liability is limited to the cost of the work carried out.

7. Waste Removal

Unless otherwise agreed, all arising waste (brash, timber, and chippings) will be removed from site and recycled. If the client wishes to retain timber or chippings, this must be agreed before work begins.

8. Complaints

We aim to resolve any concerns promptly. If you are not satisfied with any aspect of our service, please contact us within 14 days of work completion at info@carpenterstreecare.co.uk.

9. Governing Law

These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. Any disputes will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
